Volunteer Photographers/Videographers Bios
Wyatt Hyora (Photographer) pursues photography out of a passion to produce beautiful art from the world we encounter every day. While he has supported clientèle in a wide spectrum of projects from environmental commentary to product catalogs, his primary focus and passion is outdoor landscape and wild life in natural-light photography. The water’s edge from early morning reflections to the sunset glows in hues of orange and reds, represents the shades and themes to which Wyatt is most often drawn. He embraces the effort necessary to being “lucky enough” to be at the right place at the right time to  create his camera works. Wyatt has traveled and photographed extensively throughout the continental USA, Europe and Asia and for the last four years has called the Treasure Coast of Florida his home. He operates an independent freelance
We have been very fortunate to have many still Photographers and Videographers volunteer their time and expertise on the majority of photography submitted during this Centennial year. Their photographs or videos will be shown on this website as well as others, for use in public relations, social media and for some of the promotional products being created for your purchase. John McAleer  (Photographer) In 2011, He retired as President of the Work-Rite/Sit-Rite Co. and relocated to Vero Beach. His retirement plans included playing golf, studying and initiating oil painting, participating in charitable activities, and traveling with his wife. Formerly an active camera club member in North Andover, MA., upon retirement cameras and related photo equipment were sold.  Currently, He uses small (pocket sized) digital cameras for scenes used for oil paintings. The digital photo quality is excellent, primarily due to the Leica lens. John’s favorite photo shoots include people in action and scenes of interest that draw the viewer in.
Steve Erickson (Photographer) has provided photography services for wide variety of clients as part of a 30-year career as a public relations consultant.  He is now retired and continues as an amateur photographer in Vero Beach, Florida.

Jim Wilson (Photographer) He was born and raised in Vero Beach. Jim has a great love for Vero Beach and it’s people. He especially enjoys studying and preserving Vero’s amazing and colorful history. He is an auto parts manager by day and a photographer on nights and weekends. Jim regularly volunteer his photography services to a number of local nonprofits, including the Indian River Historical Society, Main Street Vero Beach, The Heritage Center, Indian River County Chamber of Commerce and the Live Like Cole Foundation. He is the administrator and or creator of several social groups on FaceBook. Most of the groups are Treasure Coast History related pages with one group for photography. His favorite group is Growing Up in Vero Beach. This group has collected the largest on-line historical photo archive of RR County and Vero Beach photos on the Internet. he is honored to be one of the volunteer photographers for Vero’s Centennial year of celebration
Tyler Kennison (Videographer) was born and raised in Sebastian FL.  He attended and graduated from Indian River State College with a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media in 2016. He is currently a freelance Videographer whose work includes weddings and real estate. Tyler also produces graphic designs and videos for Bizzizz, a local Vero Beach social media advertising company.
Lee Orre (Photographer) Lee became a Vero Beach resident in 2003 moving here from Palm Beach Gardens. He spent many years as a motor sports photographer traveling throughout the USA. He retired from motor sports in 1997, but still photographs some occasional races. The most recent races were the offshore Super-Boat races in Cocoa Beach. Lee’s wife, Dawn, opened Tropic Art and Frame in Vero in 2003 and lee has her partner until she retired in 2013. Lee has had many adventures and experiences with photography throughout his life. He is very happy to be a part of the Vero Beach Centennial.
Etta M. Schaller (Photographer/Videographer) is an Ohio transplant. She moved to Miami, Florida in the late 80’s. There Etta worked for several advertising agencies as a Graphic Designer for print advertisements, direct sales, publications, and production. In the late 90’s until retirement (12/21/12 to Vero Beach) she served as primary Graphic Designer and Publications Coordinator for University of Miami: Athletic Communications, Hurricane Club, Ticket Sales, and Marketing and Promotions. Garnered several awards from College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Citation for Excellence in Publications and Printing Association of Florida, Inc. Proficient in visual software Adobe: InDesign, and Photoshop. She is an avid student of photography and videography. Entry level in video software: Final Cut Pro and audio software: Logic Pro. Etta belongs to several clubs, Adventure Photography and Photo Walks, Vero Beach Toastmasters Club #6731, and Film & Video Club of Indian River. She is enrolled in Indian River State College, Ft. Pierce, FL., BAS: Graphics and Visual Communication, Concentration: Digital Media.
Jenn Hicks (Photographer) was born in Melbourne and moved to Vero Beach at the age of two and spent her first twenty-six years growing up in Vero Beach. Photography has been a lifelong passion for her and she first picked up the camera at age ten. Jenn attended Eastern Florida State College to work on her photography credentials and found her niche as a fine arts photographer. Her specialty is nature, focusing on landscapes and architecture but also finds beauty in simple objects and loves to show that beauty to others. Jenn’s work has been featured in multiple art gallery exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Viera and her work is currently featured on several online stock publications. The highlight of her photography career occurred last year when NatGeo photographer and host, Jason Edwards, commented and liked one of her macro photographs on Instagram. Every fine art photographer’s dream is to be noticed by National Geographic in some way! Jenn recently moved back to Vero Beach (so glad to be home) last month and is thrilled to be a volunteer for Vero Beach’s Centennial celebration.
Jack Foley (Chatham Photography) has worked with the advertising and publishing industries for over 20 years, from national campaigns to in-house marketing departments.
